I hate podiums

I’ve never liked podiums. I physically move them out of my way before any presentation, training, or public speaking event of any kind.

Let the audience see you. Let them experience the entire ‘you.’ If you’re hoping for audience interaction of any kind, the podium is a big barrier.

‘But where do I put my notes?’ News flash: don’t use them. Use the journey method or link method to memorize your key points and then practice, practice, practice.

Gotta use notes? What are some of your sneaky ways to use notes without your audience seeing them?
