I learned this firsthand when I saw Steven Wright in concert.

The depth of his material and outright craziness of it proves he takes it seriously:

🤣 "My theory of evolution is that Darwin was adopted."
😆 "Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time."
😅 "I got a garage door opener. It can't close. Just open.

Never underestimate the power of a well-timed joke in your presentation.
